Who Are We?

I’m Parker H. Nusbickel, Founder & CEO of Myers & Beck, a residential construction company based in Nashville, Tennessee.

I caught the home-building bug as a kid growing up in one of the first houses built in a developing 1980’s Little Rock neighborhood. Along with my brother and the other kids on the street, we “toured” just about every house as it went up—playing, exploring… and occasionally vandalizing (yes, I got caught once).

I took a brief, 20-year detour into music, working in Boston, England, Los Angeles, and eventually Nashville—where I met my wife, Skye. She’s also the daughter of one of the best damn builders in Middle Tennessee, Randy Jones.

For the past decade+, I’ve worked alongside Randy Jones Construction building homes, learning what I believe is the only way to do it: obsessive attention to detail, hiring local crews and giving them the time to do their best work, tight, consistent scheduling, clean job sites, and building every home like you might live in it yourself.

After years of dreaming, planning, and learning (and not vandalizing), I launched Myers & Beck to bring that same approach to custom home building, renovations, and DADU construction in Nashville and the surrounding communities.

When I started this company, I knew exactly the type of business I wanted to build—but…
…I had no idea what to call it.
I spent more time than I’ll admit trying to figure out a name. Nothing felt right.
Then one night it clicked—name it after my two favorite people.
Myers & Beck are my kids’ middle names.
