Kitchens have a way of becoming the center of the house whether you planned it that way or not. It’s where you cook, eat, do homework, open the mail, have a drink and somehow end up standing around talking even when there are perfectly good chairs ten feet away. If we’re going to remodel it, let’s make it work for the way you actually live.
There’s a lot going on in a kitchen remodel. Cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, appliances, flooring, tile—and somehow they all need to show up at the right time and play nicely together. That’s our problem to solve, not yours. We’ll keep things moving, keep you involved, and make sure the job gets done the way it should.

We’ve all moved into homes with kitchens designed by someone else. Sure, you make it your own—or at least try to. Life goes on, you live in it, but occasionally you think, “It sure would be nice to have…” Well, let’s talk about it. What works? What do you hate? Let’s finally make it yours.

First, let’s talk. Show us the kitchen. What do you love? What drives you nuts? What have you been dreaming about for the last five years? And yes, what do you want to spend? Let’s get all of it on the table and figure out where we’re going.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
DEMO
Okay, now somebody gets a sledgehammer…maybe, we’ll let you have a turn, too! We’ll protect the rest of your house, tear out what’s going away and find out what’s been hiding behind those walls for the last 30 years. Hopefully nothing. If there is, we’ll figure it out together.
PLAN & SELECT
Now we make some decisions. Cabinets, counters, appliances, floors, tile, lighting—and probably a dozen things you haven’t thought about yet. That’s okay. We have. Let’s get as much figured out as possible before somebody shows up with a sledgehammer.
BUILD IT BACK
This is when it starts getting good. Walls close up. Cabinets go in. Counters show up. Tile starts changing the room. We’ll keep all the trades moving in the right order and give them the time they need to do their jobs right.
FINAL WALKTHROUGH
We’ll walk through everything together, deal with the little stuff, make sure it all works and clean up after ourselves. Then we’ll get the hell out of your kitchen so you can finally use it.

Let’s take a look at the kitchen. Tell us what you want to change and—just as importantly—what you’re comfortable spending. New countertops and a backsplash are a very different project from moving walls, plumbing and starting over. We’d much rather talk about money early than design a kitchen that doesn’t make sense for your budget.

We operate under the philosophy of doing a job the right way rather than simply doing it the fastest way. That doesn’t mean we drag our feet—quite the opposite. We build and execute a tight schedule, but that schedule gives each subcontractor the time they need to do their job to our standards.

Typically, yes. Will it be fun living without a kitchen? Not at all. We’ll talk through what to expect before we start, keep the job site as clean and organized as we can, and do our best to make living through the mess a little less miserable.
